Madison County is one of the fastest growing areas in Kentucky. Madison County has two townships, Richmond and Berea and sits just south of Fayette County with the Kentucky River as its border. Madison County has a blend of urban, suburban and rural environments. It is a rapidly growing county enjoying both residential and industrial growth.
As a tourist site, the County offers many attractions in which to visit. Berea is known as the capital of artisan crafts in the state of Kentucky. Bybee, also located in Madison County, is known for it's exquisite pottery. If you would like to take a step back in history, located in the northern part of Madison County is White Hall Historic State Shrine and Fort Boonesboro State Park.
